El Bob spontaneously made a 24-hour trip to West Palm Beach, FL to cruise on a yacht with a bunch of ladies, then spent the night at a DoubleTree before heading back to New York the next morning. El Bob made some Boston friends on the yacht who were already fans of him.

Victoria is Swiss, Irish, and Cuban, and she is signed by NEXT agency in Miami. She had the most upbeat energy out of all the other models, which create a different vibe in the photographs. As much as I love intimate and sensual photos, I started my modeling photography looking for happy-playful characters and have always loved the results. It is a rare treat to find someone who can be photogenic while being silly in front of the lens. When I want to create playful-sexy photos, I think about Alessandra Ambrosio’s Victoria’s Secret photos. Victoria also happens to have the most freckles on any girls I’ve ever captured, and that might have been one of the reasons for choosing her. One thing you might notice in my photos is that I love sheer tops and soft, light fabrics. It falls easily on the skin, and just as easily falls off the skin. With the proper lighting, it also shines through the fabric to reveal the silhouette of the body. Sheer fabrics also convey the sense of warmth and comfort.
These photos were taken at the same secret location on the next day. The number one reason why I chose the location was the outside bath tub, which really wasn’t private at all. All photos are 100% natural light.

Mah has been modeling for over a year. We shot at the secret hotel which I can’t publish the name of. It was great running around shooting in such wonderful weather with lots of lush green grass, trees, and white curtain walls lining the perimeter. You could tell she was experienced by her gracefulness and playfulness in front of a camera. The camera just makes her smile instantly, in a very seducing way… or perhaps it was directed at me. We were both quiet people, so we let the camera and her poses do all the talking for us and we had an awesome conversation. Our photo session was during Christmas Day.
The indoor photos were lit with AlienBee modeling lamps and umbrellas. The 100 watt bulbs are rather dim especially through an umbrella, so I always use prime lens wide open.

I drove my ridiculously over priced rental car to Pompano Beach to shoot with Amber. Instead of shooting at the beach as originally planned, we ended up shooting at her home which was a very unique location. It was also pouring in intervals so we would shoot, run for cover, shoot, repeat. At least my 1D and L lens are weather sealed, so I would still shoot in the rain as long as my camera wasn’t saturated with water. The road that lead up to her house was unpaved dirt, and her first floor was a garage/machine shop. She owns two Jeeps which we shot with one of them, and made the most out of the machine shop. She is a gear head and had no problems smearing actual grease onto her body, and I also had her assistant grind aluminum in the background to create the sparks.
The outdoor photos were taken with a Canon 70-200mm 2.8L IS, and the indoors were with a Canon 50mm 1.4 USM. Wardrobe used in this project, one orange bikini, wifebeater

Veronica. How can you go wrong with a name like Veronica. She is a mix of Chinese and Hungarian. We had our session at the Pelican Hotel in Miami. This was one of the easiest and most enjoyable shoots in Miami because we just had so much chemistry. The other model I was traveling with was able to share some of Veronica as well.
